The Musical Doorbell is designed to accomodate up to two auxiliary speakers, so that the doorbell can be heard in different parts of the home, such as your basement, garage, workshop, office, or back yard.

Connect two wires to the SP and G terminals of the Musical Doorbell as shown on the left, out to the auxiliary speaker. Up to two auxiliary speakers may be connected in this manner.

You can use any 8 ohm, 1/2W (or greater) speaker, but keep in mind that the speaker should be good quality and mounted in an enclosure for best sound and volume.

We also sell an auxiliary speaker for this purpose, which comes in the same housing as the Musical Doorbell.
